We had a wonderful day at Hopley's Plant Nursery in Much Hadham last weekend, helping the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance launch their Summer of Open Gardens fundraising programme.
The Air Ambulance relies on the generosity and goodwill of the people of Essex and Hertfordshire to raise the £500,000 needed every month to keep the medics flying. With no funding from the government or the National Lottery the Air Ambulance charity has to raise all this money itself. In this initiative its encouraging local people to open their gardens to family, friends and neighbours in exchange for a donation.
We're sponsoring the programme and giving away lots of Baby Bio® products to help participants grow beautiful blooms.
At Hopleys our team was on hand to give advice and hand out samples.

Ken also interviewed Cath for our next podcast. Tune in at World Radio Gardening to hear what she had to say!
